Speed Freaks on ITV4

Buckle up and enjoy the high-speed ride with Keshet Productions’ new car show for ITV4

ITV today announced a brand new car show, Speed Freaks, which will air on ITV4 later this summer.

From Keshet Productions, this 6 x 60’ series will see entrepreneur and daredevil Zef Eisenberg take on his toughest challenge yet - to break the British land speed record in a car he plans to engineer himself.

With over 40 land speed records currently to his name, he’s already done it on a bike at the iconic Pendine Sands in Wales. Now Zef wants to finish what Sir Malcolm Campbell started in 1927 and break the 200mph barrier in a car and, in doing so, become the only person to hold the British land speed records on both two and four wheels.

In order to prepare for this dangerous feat, Zef is scouring the nation to meet fellow motoring mavericks and glean essential engineering know-how from their incredible “franken-machines”.  Whether they’ve fitted a 24,000cc W12 aero-engine into a car, or built from scratch a full Dakar off-road racer, Zef’s going to get behind the wheel and under the bonnet of Britain’s fastest cars, bikes and boats.

Inspired by these extraordinary machines, Zef will challenge his own team of mechanics to take a different vehicle each week and make it as fast as humanly possible. Currently in production, each 60 minute episode will feature fantastic vehicles, adrenaline-filled action from behind the wheel, and incredible engineering.

The knowledge they gain will play a crucial part in helping this real-life Tony Stark and his team prepare Zef’s crazy 1200hp specially built road-legal Porsche 911 Turbo S for the series finale - his death-defying record attempt at Pendine Sands. Will Speed Freaks see Zef succeed and achieve a life-long ambition to take his place amongst the British legends of land speed?

Speed Freaks has been commissioned for ITV4 by Paul Mortimer, Head of Digital Channels and Satmohan Panesar, Commissioning Editor, Factual Entertainment. Executive Producers are Stephanie Fox and David G Williams from Keshet Productions.  The series is distributed by Keshet International.

David Williams, Keshet Productions said, “This high-octane series features a feast of items and VTs geared up to indulge anyone with an interest in cars, motorsports and engineering.  Zef’s need for speed and desire to break that land-speed record is infectious and makes for compelling viewing.”

Celebrity line-up revealed for Channel 4 and Stand up to Cancer's Sink or Swim

With one in five British adults being unable to swim and one in three children leaving school without being able to swim, Channel 4 and Twofour, part of ITV Studios, today reveal the line-up for the new large-scale celebrity series, Sink or Swim (w/t) in support of Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C).

Joining the previously announced Olympic gold medallist Linford Christie and Coronation Street star Sair Khan will be Sky News anchor Kay Burley, The Last Leg’s Alex Brooker, TOWIE stars James ‘Arg’ Argent and Georgia Kousoulou, Blue singer Simon Webbe, Love Island’s Wes Nelson, Hollyoaks actress Rachel Adedeji, television presenter Diane Louise Jordan and Linford Christie’s fellow Olympic gold medallists, Tessa Sanderson and Greg Rutherford.

Sink or Swim (4 x 60’) attempts to erase the stigma of being a non-swimmer and follows the progress of our cast  some complete non-swimmers, some who just need to polish up their skills as well as those with a fear of open water or those who have been taught to swim as children but now struggle to do so for health reasons – as they are pushed to their absolute limits.

The celebrities will be teamed with a group of leading figures and professionals from the world of swimming including Olympic silver medallist Keri-anne Payne and adventurer Ross Edgley (best known for being the first person in history to swim around Great Britain).  Keri-anne and Ross will be lead-trainers, with support from Paralympic champion Ellie Simmonds. Together, the trainers will offer vital training and support to transform the celebrities into strong swimmers, capable of taking on a series of challenges. Each episode will culminate in a punishing qualification swim and the celebrities left standing (or in this case, swimming) at the end of the gruelling training process will take part in the ultimate open water challenge together as they attempt to swim the English Channel.

SU2C – a joint national fundraising campaign from Cancer Research UK and Channel 4 has to date raised over £62 million for research into cancer which will accelerate new cancer treatments to UK patients and save more lives.

Sink or Swim was commissioned for Channel 4 for by Commissioning Editor for Entertainment, Steven Handley. It will be executive produced by Mel Leach, Andrew Mackenzie and Caroline Davies for Twofour.

Steven Handley, Commissioning Editor for Entertainment at Channel 4 says: “Sink or Swim promises to be one of the most perilous Stand Up To Cancer Celebrity Challenges we have ever attempted. It will push the boundaries of what Celebrities will endure and overcome to raise money and awareness for charity and we are delighted to be working with TwoFour on this ambitious project. I’m thrilled to announce such an incredible and diverse cast for the series.  They all have truly captivating stories behind why they find swimming terrifying and I cannot wait to see them embark upon this epic challenge.”

Mel Leach, Executive Producer for Twofour added, “Swimming the Channel is a monumental feat for even the very best swimmers, let alone those who can’t even swim a length. Our brave celebrities will have to overcome their fears and embark on a huge mental and physical transformation to complete this epic challenge.”

Wired Productions & KeokeN Interactive take giant leap to Deliver Us The Moon for PC & Console in 2019

Watford, UK - June 27, 2019 –– Award-winning publisher, Wired Productions and acclaimed Dutch game studio, KeokeN Interactive, have today unveiled a stellar new partnership to bring the full release of space sci-fi epic Deliver Us The Moon to PC & consoles in 2019.

Powered by Unreal® Engine 4 and including both ‘Fortuna’ and the as yet unreleased ‘Tombaugh’ story expansion, Deliver Us The Moon, is set in an apocalyptic near-future where the Earth’s resources have been depleted and humanity looks to the stars. Nations band together to create the World Space Agency - an organisation tasked with solving the extreme energy crisis. The solution: colonization and exploitation of the moon’s natural reserves of Helium-3 to serve the energy needs of a growing Earth population. Suddenly, and without warning, communications with the Moon cease, and the energy source is lost. Plunged into darkness and without power, years pass as world governments come together once more to embark on a new mission - to re-establish the energy supply and with it hope for the human race.

Check out the new trailer here:

In this thrilling do-or-die adventure, prospective players are set to experience zero gravity, explore barren deserts, huge space stations and abandoned settlements on the Moon’s surface. When the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, Earth’s last hope – a lone astronaut - must be the saviour of humanity in a desolate, inhospitable environment.  With a dimly lit ASE A.I. drone their only companion in the dark vacuum of space, players must piece together the events that befell a lunar colony through a narrative-driven experience unlike any other.

“With just 12 years to save the planet from irreversible climate change KeokeN’s brilliant narrative cuts close to the bone.” Said Leo Zullo, Managing Director, Wired Productions, “2019 marks half a century since the first moon landings, a great celebration of exploration alongside a backdrop of private enterprise embarking on a new space race – with exploitation at the forefront.”

"Reaching your game's full potential and getting it out there on the market is tough. The games industry is a wasteland filled with cowboys, and in this landscape it's hard to find honest, passionate, real and hardworking people that are able to make the difference for your product. That is exactly why we found home in the UK with the great folks at Wired Productions," said Koen Deetman, Game Director at KeokeN Interactive.

Deliver Us The Moon – including the Tombaugh story expansion – will release later in 2019. Players who’ve already supported the game by buying Deliver Us The Moon: Fortuna will receive Tombaugh via a free update when it launches as part of Deliver Us The Moon later in 2019.

Sarah Payne: The Untold Story

Thursday 4th July 2019
9.00pm - 10.00pm

“When I think about her, I think of her playing with her brothers and her sister. If those were her last moments on this earth, then that’s what I would have chosen for her… That must have been a lovely afternoon for them. Both the boys are dads now. I can live with her not being here any more. I can’t live with them not being able to live their lives because she’s not. And I can’t have him [Roy Whiting] take any more than he took. He took enough that day and I won’t give him any more.” - Sara Payne

In this new documentary for ITV’s Crime & Punishment strand, Susanna Reid speaks to Sara Payne about the murder of her eight-year-old daughter Sarah, reflecting on the devastating impact it has had on her family, and the lasting legacy of her death nearly 20 years on.

The abduction and murder of Sarah Payne from a field near her grandparents’ home in Sussex in July 2000 shocked the nation, particularly when it was revealed the culprit Roy Whiting was a convicted paedophile who had committed a similar crime - though not murdered the girl - some years previously.

Sarah’s mother campaigned to change the law, allowing concerned parents access to the sex offender register, and succeeded in changing the criminal justice system. A decade on, as she turns 50, Sara Payne gives Susanna a vivid insight into her daughter, her family and the effects the murder and ensuing court case had on those left behind in their wake.

Featuring interviews with Sarah’s brothers and sister, as well as her grandparents, who have never spoken before, the documentary explores the case from the Payne family’s perspective, going behind the headlines to explore how they coped at the time, and the long-lasting impact it has had on all of them.

This is an Optomen production for ITV

ITV have commissioned a new two part drama, Honour, starring Keeley Hawes.

Keeley Hawes is to star as the real-life detective who brought five killers to justice in the heartbreaking true story of Banaz Mahmod, the young Londoner murdered by her own family for falling in love with the wrong man.

Written by Gwyneth Hughes (Vanity Fair, Dark Angel, Remember Me), Honour tells the powerful story of Detective Chief Inspector Caroline Goode’s passionate search to discover the fate of missing 20-year old Banaz.

DCI Goode, played by Keeley Hawes, discovered that Banaz had been to the police five times to report threats to her life from members of her own family. Appalled that her own colleagues had missed multiple chances to save a young woman’s life and prevent a so-called “honour” killing, Caroline vowed that she would not rest until she finally got justice for Banaz. It was a promise that quickly became personally consuming. This tense and emotionally vivid drama brings Caroline’s long and unwavering quest to life.

Commented Gwyneth Hughes:

“Banaz Mahmod met her brutish death on the orders of her own father and uncle, which I find profoundly unsettling. That this story is ultimately so uplifting is down to the sheer heroism and dedication of the police officers who hunted down her killers. Caroline Goode and her team felt real love for this girl they’d never met. I found their unusual warmth and humanity deeply moving.”

Commented Keeley Hawes:

“It is a privilege to be working on Honour as Buddy Club's first ever project. In a time where honour killings are still rife, it is critical to shine a light on such an important subject. Banaz Mahmod's story, and DCI Goode’s subsequent investigation, is certainly one that needs to be told and I am proud to be a part of it.”

Filming will begin in September.

Australia's Blumhouse, Continuance Pictures, announces scripts selected for film consideration

Continuance Pictures has selected the Top 25 script submissions for the first Continue Short Film Initiative, which aims to establish a platform for Australian talent and provide opportunities for emerging filmmakers everywhere.  Unexpectedly, the Continue initiative proved popular internationally, with filmmakers from all corners of the globe submitting their film and television scripts. A number of the scripts were genre-skewed, including Carn-Evil by Jason Siner and Red Right Hand by Nick Pollack . TV and film star Cleo Massey had her script Liar, Liar selected as a finalist.

“Having filmmakers from a variety of backgrounds provides our development department with engaging stories and endless entertainment,” Tristan Barr says. “Prestige horrors, fourth-wall-breaking comedies and touching dramas were the most popular genres tendered.”

While submissions were being reviewed by the development team, the producers started making connections in the US with the help of Screen Queensland, Film Victoria, and Australians in Film. The team met with major writing talent, production houses, and formed larger international connections.

The Continuance team also attended the Hollywood Comedy Shorts Film Festival, and Hollyweb Festival where Continuance’s web series Cursed screened in the 2019 Official Selection. Hollyweb provides the latest and greatest web series, and their creators, valuable exposure, networking opportunities and industry education sessions.

“Our goal is to champion quality content from emerging writers and directors,” David Gim says. “We believe we can bring fresh local and international talent to these production houses, thanks to the Continue Short Film Initiative.”

Additionally, Continuance Pictures partnered with Revelation Film Festival earlier this year to provide the latest iteration of the Continue Short Film Initiative. Successful applicants will be passed onto Continuance Pictures for first-look feature production with local, US and Asian distributors. Revelation Film Festival is held in Perth between the 4th and 17th of July.

“Our partnership with Revelation is the next exciting step in securing partnerships with future Australian filmmakers, and bringing their work into the consciousness of a wider audience,” David Gim says.

Competition - Win Blue Directed by Karina Holden on DVD

Blue (The tide has come for Change) is out now on Digital and released on DVD on July 1st.

And to celebrate we have a great competition for you and 2 copies on DVD to give away.

Synopsis
Half of all marine life has been lost in the last 40 years. By 2050 there will be more plastic in the sea than fish. A powerful feature documentary Blue, from renowned film-maker Karina Holden (Magical Land Of Oz), takes us on a provocative journey into the ocean realm, to witness a critical moment in time…when the marine world is on a precipice.

Blue presents a fascinating and important story that needs to be told. We journey across the seas and into the world of passionate advocates for ocean preservation, where the story of our changing oceans is unfolding.

Our inspirational guides, Lucas Handley, Madison Stewart, Philip Mango, Dr Jennifer Lavers, Tim Silverwood, Mark Dia and Valerie Taylor, have one common aim, to be guardians of the ocean and inspire others to join their work to protect the world we live in. They are defending habitats, campaigning for smarter fishing, combating marine pollution and fighting for the protection of keystone species.

The industrialisation that has occurred in the oceans over the last century mirrors the events that triggered mass extinctions on land. Industrial scale fishing, habitat destruction, species loss and pollution have placed the ocean in peril. The very nature of the sea is being irretrievably altered. The ocean can no longer be thought of as a place of limitless resources, a dumping ground, immune to change or decline, we have learnt a lot on about how the ocean operates, but need to act on that knowledge before it’s too late.

Blue comes at a time when we are making critical decisions that will decide the legacy we leave for generations to come and shows us there is a way forward and the time to act is now.

Competition: Win Joe Stilgoe - The Heat Is On! - Swinging The 80s on Audio CD

On 28th June, Silva Screen Records will release Joe Stilgoe - The Heat Is On: Swinging The 80s, Joe Stilgoe’s album of 80s movie hits arranged in a 50s big band style.

And to celebrate we have a great competition for you and 3 copies on CD to give away.

Synopsis
"This album basically is my childhood. Mixing the movies I was obsessed with and the big band music I felt such an affinity when everyone else was listening to A-Ha." - Joe Stilgoe

The album continues Joe's much loved and critically acclaimed style of combining great songs from the past with an exciting and relevant new spin. Connecting the dots between the 50s and 80s, THE HEAT IS ON! shines a spotlight on some of the greatest movie songs from 80s blockbusters - Beverly Hills Cop, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Batman, Short Circuit, The Karate Kid and many more.

Using the great arrangers of the 1950s as inspiration - Nelson Riddle, Robert Farnan, Sammy Nestico - these classic songs are almost unrecognisable in their new guise as perhaps the lost standards from the decade of swing and rock 'n' roll.

Says Joe - "Growing up in the 80s in Southern England wasn't much like the movies, but on the daydreamy days I would imagine I was Tom Hanks in Big, Michael J Fox in Back To The Future, Judd Nelson in The Breakfast Club and sometimes even Mary Stuart Masterson in Some Kind Of Wonderful. I fell in love with the music from American films, as they seemed to have everything I longed for - the wide streets with white clapboard houses, perfect front lawns and strangely amenable older residents with hoses, the bikes with armchair seats ridden by the kids in ET, the sense of adventure and stories in Stand By Me, the massive drums and massive choruses from those ballads that only the 80s knew how to deliver. All that was missing for a boy who would go on to dream of singing with a big band was that - big bands. I don't remember any big band music from the 80s, or at least, none that reached me. So, for this album, I thought we'd bring it all together."

What if all these songs from all these life-changing movies were actually big band classics?

Joe Stilgoe is a true modern-day entertainer, known globally as a performer of wit, style and a level of musicianship which has seen him be recognised as one of the best singer

Sky announces upcoming original Christmas special, Cinderella: After Ever After, starring David Walliams

Sky announced upcoming original Christmas special, Cinderella: After Ever After, starring David Walliams, Sian Gibson, Celia Imrie and Sir Tom Courtenay

This Christmas, Sky One turns the classic Cinderella story on its head, thanks to new Sky original comedy Cinderella: After Ever After starring David Walliams. Sian Gibson, Celia Imrie and Sir Tom Courtenay also join the all-star line-up in this King Bert Productions special.

All fairy tales end with ‘happy ever after’ but what happens after ever after? The anarchic 60-minute Christmas special begins where the fairy tale ends; Cinderella (Sian Gibson) has just married her Prince Charming (David Walliams), but soon has a rude awakening when she realises married life isn’t all it’s cracked up to be when you have an image-obsessed, floss-dancing, hip-hop rapping husband. Perhaps a glass slipper fitting your foot is not sufficient grounds for a lifelong commitment after all?

This heart-warming festive show follows Cinderella (Sian Gibson) as she fights to save The King (Sir Tom Courtenay) from the traps of her evil stepmother Madame Blackheart (Celia Imrie) and her conspiring and moronic stepsisters Dumbella and Rubella.

David Walliams, said: “When you read a story to a child and it ends ‘they lived happily ever after’ the child often asks what happened next? Now, for the first time in history, we will reveal what happened next for Cinderella, Prince Charming and the Wicked Stepmother. What happened, ‘After Ever After’? We have assembled a magnificent cast and crew for this one-off family comedy film. It promises to be a real treat for TV viewers this Christmas. I want to say a huge thank you to Sky for making it possible”.

Cold Feet to return to ITV for a ninth series

ITV today confirmed that BAFTA winning comedy drama, Cold Feet, has been recommissioned for a ninth series from acclaimed creator and writer Mike Bullen and award winning producers Big Talk Productions.

Six further episodes of the Manchester based series will begin shooting later this year commissioned by ITV’s Head of Drama, Polly Hill. Cold Feet stars James Nesbitt, Hermione Norris, Robert Bathurst, Fay Ripley and John Thomson.

At the end of series eight Jenny (Fay Ripley) was dealing with her cancer treatment and with husband Pete (John Thomson) by her side, preparing herself for the long road ahead; David (Robert Bathurst) was putting his life back together with the support of his friends; while Karen (Hermione Norris) and Adam (James Nesbitt) were figuring out the boundaries of their burgeoning relationship and the impact it had on the close knit group.

Executive Producers for the series will be Kathryn O’Connor for Big Talk North alongside Big Talk CEO Kenton Allen and Managing Director Matthew Justice and writer Mike Bullen. The Producer is Jim Poyser.

Polly Hill said:

“We’re delighted to be returning to Manchester for more of Cold Feet. The audience reaction to the last series was incredible with many saying it’s getting better with age! We’re pleased to be working again with Mike Bullen whose moving, funny, complex and absorbing scripts are a joy to commission.”

Kenton Allen said:

“As I keep telling myself, 50 is the new 30, so we’re delighted to be able to continue to tell the stories of these much loved characters, who many of us have grown up with - and we’re delighted to be shooting again in Manchester and growing Big Talk North’s drama output with Cold Feet as our flagship show.”

Mike Bullen added:

"I think we were all overwhelmed by the amazing response to the latest series. Jenny's cancer in particular seemed to touch a nerve with viewers. There are still stories to tell for these characters but I'm conscious that we've raised the bar. The delight at being recommissioned has already been replaced by trepidation at the weight of expectation.”

The six episode series will shoot later this year in Manchester to air on ITV in 2020.

Sidse Babett Knudsen, Mark Lewis Jones, Joanna Scanlan, Genevieve Barr join Sarah Lancashire in The Light

The Light, set in the fictional town of Glyngolau and currently filming entirely on location in Wales, explores a forgotten community devastated by disaster. An explosion on the construction site of a much-needed and sought-after regeneration project in this “left-behind” town claims the lives of many children who have broken into the building site to make mischief. As grief gives way to anger the community finds itself forced to confront difficult truths amid the search for justice.

BAFTA and RTS-winner Sarah Lancashire (Kiri, Happy Valley) plays Polly Bevan the wife of the local politician who championed the project and the person to whom the community turns following the disaster. Councillor Iwan Bevan, her husband, played by Mark Lewis Jones (National Treasure, Keeping Faith), loves his home town and is a respected figurehead for the community. He was passionate about restoring the town to its former glory, but at what cost...?

Behind closed doors Iwan and Polly’s relationship is more complicated than outward appearances suggest, made even more so by the fact that their rebellious teenage daughter Leona, played by newcomer Jade Croot (Casualty), does all she can to aggravate her father. But when Leona suffers life-changing injuries as a result of the accident on her father’s site, the family finds itself tested to the limits.

BAFTA-winner and Emmy-nominee Sidse Babett Knudsen (Borgen, Westworld) plays Harriet Paulsen, the executive at Kallbridge Developments which has overseen the project in Glyngolau. On hearing the news of the disaster, Harriet immediately heads to the site but finds herself the focus of raw grief and anger. She’s tough with a ruthless streak but her desire for self-preservation and to protect the business she’s helped build comes into sharp conflict with her compulsion to do the right thing. Her Executive Assistant at Kallbridge is Tim, played by Nabhaan Rizwan (Informer, 1917). Tim is smart and eager, but his good sense may be clouded by his desire to protect Harriet at all costs.

While the search for the truth behind these events unfolds, the community seeks strength in each other. Polly relies on her oldest friends, like her, born and raised in Glyngolau. Angela Griffiths is played by BAFTA-nominated and RTS-winner Joanna Scanlan (No Offence, Getting On) and single parent Greta is played by BAFTA Cymru Award-winner Eiry Thomas (Keeping Faith, Rillington Place). Both have lost daughters in the accident. The women’s grief begins to turn to fury and a demand for action and justice. Who is to blame?

Debbie Kethin’s life, played by Genevieve Barr (The Silence, Press), is also shattered by events. She must wrestle with the fact that Alan, her husband, was responsible for site security and that the disaster, which also took his life, happened on his watch.

An outsider in town, Martin Harris, played by Shaun Parkes (Line of Duty, The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies) finds himself at the centre of events in Glyngolau. After rescuing Leona from the wreckage of the collapsed building, he and Polly find in each other someone they can truly trust. He’s not the only outsider, as Philip Walters, played by Adrian Scarborough (Gosford Park, Killing Eve), is drawn to Glyngolau after the disaster. He circles the community in the aftermath of the explosion, asking questions and probing for details about what happened. Who is he, what’s his agenda, and should the community place their trust in his action plan for justice? As the stakes rise for all concerned, and as each side looks to see how the law can best serve their needs, Laura, played by Ruth Madeley (Years and Years, Don’t Take My Baby), is hired by Kallbridge to serve as Harriet’s counsel.

The Light (w/t) aims to explore the nexus between blame, revenge and justice, and explores the contentious question of responsibility - social, corporate and personal – that the accident gives rise to.

FINAL FANTASY® VII REMAKE artwork and screenshots

Final Fantasy VII Remake is an upcoming action role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 4. Split across multiple releases, the first part is scheduled for March 3, 2020. The game is a remake of the 1997 PlayStation game Final Fantasy VII, following mercenary Cloud Strife as he and eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE battle against the corrupt Shinra megacorporation and the rogue former Shinra soldier Sephiroth. Gameplay is planned to combine real-time action similar to Dissidia Final Fantasy with other strategic elements.

The remake was announced following years of rumors and fan requests. Key staff members returned to help with Remake: original character designer Tetsuya Nomura returned as both director and main character designer, original director Yoshinori Kitase acted as producer, and Kazushige Nojima returned to write new material. Due to the scale of the project, the team decided to release Remake as multiple games so no original content would be cut. They also decided to add new content and adjust the original character designs to balance between realism and stylization.

BBC Four presents A Night In With Bros

Following the success of the year’s most talked about documentary, Bros: After The Screaming Stops, 1980’s pop icons Matt and Luke Goss have been invited to return to BBC Four in July to curate an entire evening of programming inspired by their childhood, their musical influences and long careers in and out of the spotlight.

A Night In With Bros follows previous curated nights on BBC Four - Keith Richards’ Lost Weekend and Boys On Film: A Night With Duran Duran. Matt and Luke will be revealing the shows and artists that inspired them growing up, introducing nostalgic clips and programmes from the BBC archive as well as interviewing specially invited guests in the studio.

There will also be brand new footage filmed with the brothers in the aftermath of their rise back to the top, as they continue their efforts to rebuild their friendship and fractured relationship. This new material will feature exclusive studio content and a first behind-the-scenes look at their preparations for their imminent shows in London, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.

Matt Goss says: “Throughout our long careers, we have been inspired by so many musical influences, and we’re so excited to take a walk down memory lane and share some of our most favourite moments that have led us to this point. There are going to be quite a few surprises and we can’t wait to share this special evening on BBC Four with our fans.”

Luke Goss says: “As we prepare for our Irish and UK shows, we wanted to come together to create a whole evening of entertainment with friends and special guests. We wanted to show some of the music, film and TV that we grew up watching and create moments of nostalgia. Our documentary After The Screaming Stops has been supported from day one by BBC Four and they have been a joy to work with, so it was an honour being asked to create an entire night of entertainment. This night on BBC Four is a way of saying a big thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way.”

The evening will air on BBC Four in July from 9pm until late during which there will be another chance to see Bros: After The Screaming Stops, the Bafta-winning and Edinburgh TV Award nominated film that made everyone fall in love with them all over again. The documentary received its TV premiere on BBC Four in December 2018 and was broadcast again on BBC Two in January.
