Istanbul welcomes the world as GIST Gaming Istanbul 2018 opens to visitors


Istanbul, Turkey - February 1st 2018 – GIST 2018, Europe’s fastest growing video games trade and consumer show opens today. Four days packed with some of the biggest developers, publishers and games this year, the consumer show embodies the spirit of the videogames industry, while GIST Developer Conference (GIST|DC) welcomes hundreds of industry representatives speaking, networking and learning more about the industry across MENA, Europe, China and beyond.

As the largest trade event for the MENA development community, GIST|DC, in association with Appodeal begins in earnest on Thursday February 1st, running until Saturday February 3rd, supported by a swathe of partners and trade bodies from around the world, showcases its largest programme of talks, panel sessions and networking events to-date; the largest ever for the MENA region.

Offering a comprehensive programme for both developers, analysts and business development, the three-day event offers the insight developers in the MENA region crave, but also allows international business to learn and network with MENA based companies.

Videogame fans from Turkey and beyond will be delighted with all the games and events throughout the consumer show, with PlayStation, Microsoft, Pearl Abyss, Blizzard, Ubisoft, Nvidia, Epin, Aral, IGG, Redbull, Monster Energy, Papara, Proud Dinosaurs and more, all in attendance, as well as a dedicated pavilion of Chinese companies organised by Beluga Global.  If games are your passion, Gaming Istanbul provides everything you’ll need to have a great time.

From February 1nd - 4th, GIST Gaming Istanbul 2017, Turkey's premiere B2B and B2C gaming expo, at Istanbul's ICC International Congress Center, covering over 10,000 m² of expo grounds directly in Istanbul's city Center.

GIST Gaming Istanbul and GIST|DC debuted in February 2016, attracted approx.  50,000 visitors, while GIST 2017 attracted 50% more visitors than its first year. GIST 2018 continues that trajectory, firmly placing GIST as a central global event in the videogames industry.
