‘Impossible’ is merely a challenge for Jonathan Goodwin, a man who combines the skills of Houdini and Superman with the everyday routines of fatherhood and family life. He is the new breed of escapologist and a professional danger-man, putting himself in the most extreme situations and dodging death every time.
The series has been inspired by his lifelong fascination for vaudeville showmen and escape artists such as Harry Houdini and Charles Blondin, the high-wire walker. Jonathan has spent thousands of hours training and studying their methods, in order to bring their amazing and forgotten techniques to a twenty-first century audience.
This extraordinary series will leave viewers breathless as Goodwin emulates his childhood heroes, taking his unique brand of entertainment onto the streets of Britain and the US.
In a nail biting first episode, astonished onlookers watch as the fearless Mr Goodwin climbs up one of London’s tallest buildings – unaided. He performs a death-defying stunt underneath a super-sized SUV, which puts him within inches of the rushing road surface and fast-spinning wheels, plus manages to trigger a bear trap without losing an arm.

About Jonathan Goodwin
Goodwin has been described as a modern-day superhero, somewhere between Harry Houdini and Superman. Over several years working as a professional danger man, the thirty-two year-old has travelled the world in order to place himself in the most extreme and life-threatening situations.
Born and raised in Pembrokeshire, South Wales, Jonathan became obsessed with the world of the superhero at an early age. As an inquisitive seven-year-old, he discovered the great international daredevil Houdini and became obsessed with his extraordinary work. Jonathan shared Houdini's taste for danger and took to learning as much as he could about the art of The Victorian Daredevil, characters like Charles Blondin who miraculously cheated death while crossing the Niagara Falls on a tightrope.
As he progressed into his teens, Jonathan started to learn the skills of these great performers. He began with simple acts such as holding his breath in the bath for as long as he could and progressed to learning bigger precision skills such as how to pick a lock and escape from handcuffs. He would challenge his parents to tie him to one of their dining room chairs after school, to practise the art of breaking free from his bonds. He soon developed the ability to learn techniques in a short period of time that would take the average person much longer to grasp. Even at university in Middlesex, his dangerous escapades were his main focus in life.
Jonathan’s dangerous day job is exactly that: a full-time profession which requires not only physical strength but also many hours of practice to stay on top of his game. When he leaves home each morning, he spends the whole day in training for his extraordinary performances – after which it’s time to head home for dinner.
Jonathan is a big family man and his wife Katy is fully supportive of what he does. They recently became parents, when their first child Milligan was born in July 2012. Meanwhile Jonathan’s parents are still waiting for him to get a proper job.

Supernatural 8x16 "Remember the Titans" - Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) are stumped when they investigate a possible zombie case where an amnesiac man (guest star John Reardon) dies and then revives himself once a day. Lead design architect Mark Cerny described the new PS4 console as a supercharged PC. Using the Sony Cloud, PS4 users will be able to start a game at home and then take it mobile on their overpriced PlayStation Vita. TV: Murdoch Mysteries Series 6 Episode 4
New and exclusive Murdoch Mysteries Series 6 - only on alibi. Sky 132 Virgin 130.Based on Maureen Jennings' series of hit novels, Murdoch Mysteries is a one-hour drama set in Toronto in the late 1890s and early 1900s during the age of invention, where methodical and dashing Detective William Murdoch (Yannick Bisson) enlists radical new forensic techniques like fingerprinting, ultraviolet light and trace evidence to solve some of the city’s most gruesome murders.
So far in the series, Detective Murdoch has delved into a high-flying, high-level conspiracy, and endeavoured to clear the name of a young Winston Churchill (Thomas Howes; Downton Abbey) after he is left as the prime suspect of the slaying of a veteran of a brutal North African battle.
Episode 4, which airs on Monday 25th February, sees Murdoch pursue a murderous gang of armed robbers, with his prime suspect being a man claiming to be famed fictional detective, Sherlock Holmes. A bizarre series of occurrences leads to the appearance of Arthur Conan Doyle (Geraint Wyn Davies) to provide some answers in the case, and a faceoff ensues between the author and his creation.
Later in the season, as well as facing new challenges in his relationship with Dr. Julia Ogden (Hélène Joy) Detective Murdoch will work to stop a dangerous madman from unleashing a deadly toxic gas attack; visit a community of naturists; and encounter a ghostly presence in Queen’s Park. The season ends with the shocking murder of someone in Murdoch’s circle, and the prime suspect is someone even closer to him.

MATT DAVIS OF "THE VAMPIRE DIARIES" STARS IN A NEW DRAMA — Investigative journalist Jeff Sefton (Matt Davis) has learned to live with his younger brother Nate's (guest star James Pizzinato "Alcatraz") relentless string of obsessions, especially his latest rant that a hit TV show called "Cult" intends to harm him. When his brother mysteriously disappears, Jeff enlists Skye Yarrow (Jessica Lucas, "Cloverfield," "Melrose Place"), a young research assistant working on "Cult," to help with his investigation into the dark underworld of the TV show and its rabid fans.
Meanwhile, in the parallel worlds of the show-within-a-show, the cult's ruthless leader, Billy Grimm, is played by actor Roger Reeves (the double role of Billy/Roger is played by Robert Knepper ("Prison Break," "Shameless"), a man whose primary agenda is winning back his former follower and lover, Kelly Collins, played by actress Marti Gerritsen (the double role of Kelly/Marti is played by Alona Tal ("Supernatural," "The Killing"). Since escaping from the cult, Kelly has become an LAPD detective who finds herself drawn back into an investigation of the group's activities as she struggles to keep Billy at a safe distance. Victor Frankenstein lives with his parents and dog Sparky who is his best friend. Concerned with his son's isolation, Victor's father encourages him to take up baseball. Victor hits a home run at his first game, but Sparky is killed by a car pursuing the ball.
Inspired by his science teacher Mr. Rzykruski's demonstration of the effect of electricity on dead frogs, a depressed Victor digs up Sparky's corpse and successfully brings him back-to-life with lightning. When Sparky escapes from the attic the whole town faces the unexpected and electrifying truth of what happens when monstrous experiments run wild.

Interview with the Vampire is a debut gothic horror and vampire novel by American author Anne Rice. It tells the 200-year-long story of a vampire called Louis. Louis was a young plantation owner but following the death of his brother he becomes distraught and seeks death in any way possible.
He is approached by a vampire named Lestat who offers him the chance to become a creature of the night: a vampire. Louis accepts, and Lestat drains Louis' mortal blood and then replaces it with his own. Louis must learn from Lestat the ways of the vampire.

E.T.
E.T. tells the story of Elliott, a lonely boy who befriends an extraterrestrial, dubbed E.T., who is stranded on Earth. Elliott and E.T. soon become best friends and as they get closer Elliott finds he is telepathically linked to the alien. Not only that, but he discovers E.T. has other alien skills - he levitates balls and is able to revive a dead flower.
However, due to being away from his home planet, E.T. begins to get deathly ill and this results in Elliott getting sick too. Elliott ends up living but E.T. dies. Remembering the flower, Elliott gives it to E.T. and he is able to use the powers from the flower to be revived just in time to make it back to his home planet.
Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein
Young scientist Heinrich Frankenstein and his devoted assistant Fritz, piece together a human body from parts of which have been secretly collected from various sources. Frankenstein's consuming desire is to create human life through various electrical devices.
He succeeds in his task but the creature turns into a monster when Frankenstein rejects him. Sticking close to the original novel, Kenneth Branagh guides us through the story of Frankenstein's quest for knowledge and his creature's search for his "father".

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
This 2010 fantasy-adventure film is based on the third novel of C.S. Lewis's epic fantasy series The Chronicles of Narnia. Set three Narnian years after the events of Prince Caspian, the two youngest Pevensie siblings, Edmund and Lucy, are transported back to Narnia along with their cousin Eustace Scrubb.
They join Caspian the new king of Narnia, in his quest to rescue seven lost lords and to save Narnia from a corrupting evil that resides on a dark island. Each character is tested as they journey to the home of the great lion Aslan but it is Aslan himself that makes the biggest sacrifice as he must give up his own life to save Edmund when the Witch demands his blood.
