The story begins in 2019 but spreads to include storylines in 1986 and 1953 via time travel, as certain characters of the show's core families grow aware of the existence of a wormhole in the cave system beneath the local nuclear power plant, which is under the management of the influential Tiedemann family. During the first season, secrets begin to be revealed concerning the Kahnwald, Nielsen, Doppler, and Tiedemann families, and their lives start to crumble as the ties become evident between the missing children and the history of the town and its citizens.
Love Island will launch in Hungary on RTL Klub this year, while MTV3 has also confirmed it will return for a second series in Finland.
Love Island Hungary, which will be produced by Paprika, takes the total number of original commissions of the format to 13. It has also been recommissioned by MTV3, produced by ITV Studios Finland, following a successful first series on SUBTV last year which averaged a 6.2% share overall (up 15% on the slot share) and an average share among 15-34s of 22.6%.
Since the beginning of 2018, Love Island has tripled its overall number of international production hours. On air in seven territories last year, with all versions produced by ITV Studios’ local production labels in those countries, the format is now launching in six more countries in 2019. In addition to Hungary, the show is set to debut in the U.S. on CBS this summer, as well as in Belgium (SBS), Holland (RTL) Poland (Polsat) and New Zealand (Three). Love Island will also return for a fifth series in the UK on ITV2, a second series in both Australia and Sweden on Nine and TV4 respectively, and a third run in Germany on RTL II.

In the UK, the launch of series four delivered ITV2’s highest overnight ratings since records began and was the highest-rated show across ALL channels in the 9.00PM slot.

9.1m viewers were left reeling at the discovery of Andrew Earlham’s murdered body at the climax of season 1. Series 2 picks up three weeks after an arrest warrant was issued for Andrew Earlham for the sexual assault of 19 women. When Andrew’s body is found in the Kent marshes, Detective Renton alongside DS Rory Maxwell are tasked with uncovering clues about Andrew’s past and unpacking the events of the three crucial weeks leading up to his murder.
Joining Joanne Froggatt and Ioan Gruffudd for this final chapter are a number of new characters including Katherine Kelly (Cheat, Mr Selfridge, The Night Manager) as DI Karen Renton, Howard Charles (The Widow, Musketeers) as Carl Peterson and Amy Nuttall (Downton Abbey, My Fair Lady) as Winnie Peterson.

The new presenter of the world’s longest-running children's TV show is today revealed as Richie Driss who joins Blue Peter for his first live show on CBBC next month.
Richie is the 38th Blue Peter presenter and will co-host alongside Lindsey Russell and new Blue Peter dog, Henry, from Thursday, May 16 on CBBC at 5.30pm.
Richie, 30, previously worked as a presenter and producer for Joe Media, where he fronted weekly broadcasts interviewing Hollywood A-listers and taking on challenges such as commando training.
Originally from St Albans, Richie studied Film and Television at University of Wales, Aberystwyth, before eventually ending up in local radio and launching his own series on GRM Daily. He then joined Joe Media in 2016 before landing his dream job on Blue Peter.
Richie says: “To say that becoming a Blue Peter presenter is a dream come true doesn’t even begin to describe it. To be named presenter of the longest running children's television programme in the world is a far bigger achievement than I ever dreamt possible. I cannot wait to get started and follow in the footsteps of the 60 years of iconic presenters who have worn the famous Blue Peter badge before me. I am going to give it my all, no matter what the job throws at me.”
Matthew Peacock, Acting Editor, Blue Peter, says Richie stood out at his auditions because he wasn’t fazed by anything they threw at him. “Richie really impressed us during his auditions and showed that he has plenty of Blue Peter spirit when he came face to face with a Burmese python and took on a ninja assault course. We’re sure he will be a big hit with the legions of Blue Peter fans.”
Richie has already been filming for the programme and has been thrown in at the deep end with his very first challenge - singing with The Kingdom Choir in front of a live audience.
He joins Blue Peter following the departure of Radzi Chinyanganya on April 18 who had been with the show for five and a half years.
Head of BBC Children’s In House Productions, Helen Bullough, says: “Richie has that Blue Peter ‘can do’ attitude that has inspired so many generations of children over the past 60 years and which still remains at the heart of the show today. He is going to be a fantastic addition to the programme alongside Lindsey and Henry.”
In the run up to Richie’s first show there will be two guest presenters joining Lindsey in May. Broadcaster and former England star, Alex Scott, will co-host on May 2, and actor and presenter, Cel Spellman, will present with Lindsey on May 9.

Ahead of Horror Channel’s premiere of Pete Walker’s SCHIZO, horror and sexploitation movie writer/director David McGillivray reflects on disastrous scripts, his volatile relationship with Walker and writing smut for Julian Clary
Q: SCHIZO is unusual in your body of work with director Pete Walker because the concept and narrative were not of your choosing. How much of a problem was that for you? Huge. I thought the script that we re-worked was terribly old-fashioned and this led to big arguments with Walker that ended our relationship. Q: You often play a cameo in the movies you’ve written – you’re ‘Man at Séance’ in SCHIZO. Any particular reason? I liked to write myself parts so that I could observe Walker at work. He was an extremely talented exploitation director who influenced the remainder of my career. Q: SCHIZO exhibits many Hitchcockian references and Pete Walker cites Hitch as a hero. Is he for you too?
Yes, of course. Psycho is one of my favourite horror films.
Q: You’ve written many films for many people in so many genres, but what’s your own personal favourite? My first film for Pete Walker, House of Whipcord. It was very exciting because it was the kind of film I’d dreamed of writing.

Q: Just prior to SCHIZO you wrote a pop opera in the ROCKY HORROR vein for Pete Walker titled SVENGALI based on George du Maurier’s Gothic melodrama. Do you regret that project being shelved?
No, it would have been a disaster. Walker realised this and cancelled it almost before I’d typed the final page of the script. Q: Your autobiography Little Did You Know is published in June. Rumour says it’s not your typical memoir though, so what’s it all about? I don’t want to spoil the surprise. Suffice it to say that after its publication I will never work again.
Q: Your love/hate relationship with Pete Walker is common knowledge. Are there any more scandalous revelations about that in the book? Oh yes…
Q: You write a lot of the material for comedian Julian Clary. How did that business relationship begin and is this the nearest you can get to the Golden Era of the British sexploitation film you so brilliantly essayed in your book Doing Rude Things? Writing smut for Julian Clary is my day job. I enjoy it immensely. I have written for him for something like 37 years. In Julian’s latest show, which tours the UK before playing the London Palladium on 8th June, unsuspecting audience members are subjected to so-called ‘Heterosexual Aversion Therapy.’ If you sit in the front row, you deserve all you get.
Q: You’ve announced your next film project is The Wrong People based on the novel by Robin Maugham. So you have no intention of retiring from the film industry just yet? I love movies. I am fresh from a meeting with a director who bravely has chosen to take on this project. But In all likelihood it is so controversial that probably it will finish both our careers. If Little Did You Know hasn’t finished mine already. Q: Finally, SCHIZO receives its Horror Channel premiere on Sat April 27th. Will you be watching? I’m pleased Horror Channel viewers will get the chance to see it, but will I be watching? Certainly not. I can’t bear to see my own work, which is all dreadful. Review: By Jon Donnis Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster perhaps is not the catchiest of titles, but it is a fair description of what is a remastering of the Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 games from the early 2000's which were released then on the Playstation 2.
At the time FFX was widely called the greatest game of all time, and received a sequel which was a first for a FF game.
So is this still the greatest game of all time? The answer to that is no, but is it one of the greatest games of all time? The answer is yes, and I suspect it will always be yes.
The thing to keep in mind is that this is not a step by step remake, it is a remastering, so it is still graphically a product of it's time, so it is never fair to compare a game from 2001 to one released today, that said the graphics are still very impressive, and this was the first FF game to be fully 3D, as opposed to backdrops being rendered separately.
The basic storyline in this is that you play as Tidus in the world of "Spira" and he is on a journey in unfamiliar places, you have a gang of good guys fighting against an evil Kaiju known as Sin trying to take over the world. So pretty standard fare there.
As you cross the various areas you will take part in many turn-based strategy combat situations against the usual hillariously named enemies.
It could be argued that this type of combat has aged badly, but as I said this game is a product of it's time. The second game stars Yuna as it's main character and continues on well from the previous game. It also contains way more mini games which was always a favourite of mine throughout the various FF games.
Overall if you are a Final Fantasy fan and either want to replay a great game, or you want to play the first true 3D game in the franchise then this is a great game to buy and play, you will get literally hundreds of hours of gameplay which is something not many games from this era can claim.
I score this game a strong 8/10. Still packs a mean punch 18 years after it was first released.

The idea for Worth, now available on Amazon Prime, came to writer, actor, producer and director Eduardo Castrillo via experiences he and (MMA fighter) Jose Palacios had on the circuit.
Where did the idea for the story come from, sir? The idea from the story came from a lot from personal experiences from me and also my friend Jose Palacios, who is a professional muay thai fighter. I used to ask him all kinds of questions to try and understand the life of a fighter, especially in muay thai. It’s completely different than boxing and MMA, so it was a fun world to write about and hopefully introduce to a new audience.
How much of the film was in the script and how much of it simply came together on the set? I would say about seventy five percent of what’s on screen is the script and the rest came out of natural energy between the actors. The biggest change was the ending. My character was only supposed to fight one opponent in the film but when the original fighter didn’t show up to our second film day, we had to find a replacement actor which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. He did an amazing job and I was able to use footage from both shoots to add more action into the film.
Where do you think your strengths lie as a writer? I tend to gear myself more towards humor even when i’m not trying to. I’ll forget about a line or a quip that I had found funny when originally writing and be surprised when the audience laughs at it. If you can keep the audience chuckling every once in a while, you’ll keep them in engaged.
Did you always intend to direct the movie or was there a stage you considered pitching the script to studios? I always intended to keep this movie in house. The previous film I worked on, I had signed away the rights to a producer, because he brought a budget and some names to it but in the end it wasn't the right thing to do. With Worth I knew it would be very personal so I had to do it my way and with my team. Even in distributing the film, I decided to self distribute it and retain my rights to the project. Succeed or fail, it still belongs to us.
How difficult a film was it to make? Can you talk about some of the challenges? Because the film was self funded, we had to shoot not as frequent as I would like. I would work for a few months and save, and then we would shoot for a weekend. It took about a year to get all the footage we needed to tell the story. And I was playing a fighter so during that time I had to continuously train and diet and that was a challenge in itself.
Did most of the cast know martial arts? Yeah there was actually a few fighters in the movie, like Jose Palacios and Mauricio Alonso. Even my opponent, Manny Perez, was a fighter. It was important to have them in there and have their voice as I shot the film. Where can we find the movie? Review by Jon Donnis As soon as I started playing this game, I was instantly reminded of PC classic "Hotline Miami". And God's Trigger clearly takes a lot of inspiration from Hotline Miami.
At first the control system on this is a nightmare, it really is badly designed in my opinion, and I seemed to be forever pausing the game and checking the controls. This really is a huge problem, as there will be many people who will play this and give up pretty quickly. In time you will get used to it and you will forget that you ever had a problem. But this is still an annoyance of mine with some games. When creating a game, imagine that whoever playing it just wants to play, they don't want to learn how to attack, or transport through walls, etc, they just want to start the game, complete a few levels by killing everything easily, and have a feeling of accomplishment, then you can change up the controls, add new attacks and so on. This game fails in that respect as although it explains each new way of killing an enemy, it seems to be thrown at you all quite quickly, and you will find yourself dying multiple times before you have hardly got going.
That said, if you do stick with it, the game improves massively.
And because there control system has good variety, it does mean you have to really think sometimes how you will kill someone, will you use your close up weapon and go crazy, or will you use your limited longer range weapons, which may run out and leave you needing them for a later part in the level.
Sadly you don't really have any kind of health bar, so if you get shot or hit once, that's it you are dead, but there are plenty of checkpoints so it's not like you have to do an entire level again from scratch. Plus most enemies also die pretty quick, so it all seems strangely fair.
You play as Harry or Judy and can swap between the characters at will, and each have their different attacks and specialities. Which will also help you solve the puzzle elements the game throws at you.
The game is ultra violent as you would expect and you will end up leaving blood splattered everywhere.
The graphics are glorious as is the heavy soundtrack, if you are prone to motion sickness you might find the graphics a bit hard to play against, but the vast majority of people wont notice.
The game is good, I enjoyed it, but the poor control system thrown at you are the start, and some graphic glitches do effect gameplay.
I'll give this game a decent 7/10. Plenty of room for improvement.

Copperhead Strike packs a real punch with its double launching track layout which boasts an inverted top hat, two 360 loops, a corkscrew, and a unique jojo roll straight out the station. It’s as close as you can get to riding the real thing.
