We are finally somewhere else besides the fair!! We will be celebrating that by having a number one contender's match and two of the top wrestlers in TCW squaring off. But we get started off in a big way!
The sold out Frank Cochran Center in Meridian, Mississippi is the scene for TCW's second visit. This is one of the hottest crowds ever in TCW.
Sigmon opens up against John Saxon, who comes off of his loss to Kincaid in the Best of Seven Series. Can Saxon bounce back after the stunning defeat and interference by Steve Anthony?

As a mid thirties man, I decided the best way to review this film would be to play it for my 5 year old Niece, so that is exactly what I did. She is already a huge fan of Frozen so I thought this would be exactly the kind of film for her, and I was right, she loved it.
This is a great film to give as a Christmas present to any young child, and I am sure quite a few adults will like it too.
Really great animation, great soundtrack, and all around a great film.
Highly recommended.

Mad Men - What the Cast did Next
Jon Hamm – Don Draper
Jon Hamm’s defining role as the tortured, brilliant Don Draper has won him legions of fans, and elevated him to the A-list, but success wasn’t easy to come by for the Missouri-born actor. He was dropped by the famous William Morris Agency and saw his audition for Mad Men as his final shot at success. Since winning the role of a lifetime, Hamm has taken on a diverse range of roles- including a scene-stealing performance as Kristen Wiig’s lecherous love interest in box office smash Bridesmaids, a hardened FBI agent in the Ben Affleck-directed crime drama The Town, and a maverick sports agent in Million Dollar Arm. He’s also jumped behind the camera, honing his directing skills on a couple of episodes of Mad Men.
Christina Hendricks – Joan Harris (nee Holloway)
Hendricks’ role as the office queen bee and eventual partner in the agency was originally intended to only be a guest role. However, Matthew Weiner was so impressed with her screen presence that she was promoted to a cast regular. Her career has stepped up a gear since taking the somewhat iconic role of Joan Harris, with roles in Nicholas Winding-Refn’s critically-acclaimed Drive and Sally Potter’s drama Ginger and Rosa. She’s also starred in two high-profile directorial debuts- fellow Mad Men alumni John Slattery’s crime drama God’s Pocket, and Ryan Gosling’s urban fairy tale Lost River.
Elisabeth Moss –Peggy Olson
Arguably the real central character of Mad Men, Moss’s turn as Peggy Olson has garnered her five Emmy nominations, and countless other awards. Olson’s evolution from shy office secretary to ambitious, confident and complex Copy Chief is handled masterfully by Moss, and she shows no sign of slowing down - her recent work includes award-winning performances as Detective Robin Griffin in mini-series Top of the Lake, and as one half of a struggling married couple undergoing unusual therapy in The One I Love.
John Slattery – Roger Sterling
Slattery was born to play the suave, charismatic and irresistible Roger Sterling, a character who is often cited as a fan favourite for obvious reasons. Since the series began, Slattery has expanded an already impressive filmography, with roles in Charlie Wilson’s War, Iron Man 2 and The Adjustment Bureau. He’s also directed several episodes of Mad Men, and made his feature directorial debut with crime drama God’s Pocket, which starred the late Philip Seymour Hoffman and fellow cast member Christina Hendricks.
Vincent Kartheiser – Pete Campbell
One of the most loathed characters in the series, the moral complexities of Pete Campbell are reflected in the audience’s equally complex relationship with the character. Vincent Kartheiser’s brilliant portrayal has often left viewers disgusted, frustrated, and occasionally elated (particularly when taken down a peg or two by Don Draper). Over the last few years, he has starred in an impressive range of both high-profile features and indie shorts, including Alpha Dog (the drama based on the life of drug dealer Jesse James Hollywood), short thriller Waning Moon, and sci-fi blockbuster In Time.
January Jones – Betty Francis
Jones originally auditioned for the role of Peggy Olson, but was eventually cast as the icy, Grace Kelly-esque Betty Francis (formerly Draper). Her difficult relationship with ex-husband Don, as well as her increasingly strained relationships with daughter Sally and husband Henry provide much of the drama in Season 7, as her inability to connect or empathise becomes increasingly problematic. Jones has since starred alongside Liam Neeson in action thriller Unknown, as well as Marvel super-villain Emma Frost in X Men: First Class.
Jessica Pare – Megan Draper
As the third Mrs Draper, Megan has proved a thoroughly divisive character, garnering sympathy as she struggles to deal with Don’s indiscretions, and also derision for her sometimes petty, immature behaviour towards others as she pursues an acting career. One thing that most agree on, however, is that Pare’s casting breathed new life into the show. Pare has since shown a penchant for comedy, starring in The Trotsky, Suck and Hot Tub Time Machine among others.
Kiernan Shipka –Sally Draper
Kiernan Shipka’s pitch-perfect performance as the troubled, wayward adolescent Sally has won her critical acclaim, and at the age of 14, she is one of the youngest to appear on rite-of-passage Inside the Actors Studio. Shipka’s portrayal of Sally’s teenage rebellion is masterful, and her scenes with on-screen parents Don and Betty are key highlights of Season 7. The fact that she is able to hold her own at such a young age amongst acting stalwarts is commendable in itself, but her recent appearances in TV movie Flowers in the Attic, and shorts A Rag Doll Story, Squeaky Clean and We Rise Like Smoke have further cemented her status as a formidable acting talent in the making.
Robert Morse – Bertram Cooper
Founding partner and self –assigned godfather of the office, Bertram Cooper’s eccentric ways often mask his wily and self-serving true nature, while frequently providing comic relief in tenser moments. Robert Morse is an acting stalwart and Broadway veteran, earning multiple nominations and wins for Tony’s, Drama Desk awards and Emmys over the course of five decades. Since joining the cast of Mad Men, he’s taken roles in dramedy-western The Man Who Shook the Hand of Vicente Fernandez, as well as lending his voice to animations The Legend of Korra and Sofia the First.
Christopher Stanley- Henry Francis
Since joining the cast in 2009, Stanley’s character has evolved from Betty’s saviour to a subtle menace. Season 7 sees him slowly revealing an insidiously misogynistic side, leaving Betty considering the unpalatable idea she may have simply swapped one prison for another. Since 2009, Stanley has expanded his resume by starring in the critically acclaimed Argo and Zero Dark Thirty, as well as short film The Terrain.

Synopsis: Based on director Robin Hardy's own novel ‘Cowboys for Christ’, a Texas gospel singer Beth (Brittania Nichols) and her boyfriend Steve (Henry Garrett) both devout evangelical Christians, are sent to Scotland on a mission to spread the word of God. After a concert in Glasgow Cathedral the pair are invited by Sir Lachlan Morrison (Graham McTavish) to preach in his remote border village, but soon the horrifying reality dawns on the couple as they learn the true significance of the Celtic pagan rites. The Horror Of It All is a collection of interviews spanning all facets of the horror genre, including novels, film, horror hosts, dark fiction, cover art, and special effects. With a forward by the incomparable Jonathan Maberry, this book is sure to engage, inform, and enlighten every true-blue, horror enthusiast.
For the past few years I have been lucky enough to not only publish short stories by David Kempf but also publish interviews he has done with some of the biggest and best names in the Horror genre, and now those interviews are all part of a great new book called The Horror Of It All So I sat down with David to discuss this book, his motivations and ALS (in the UK this is known as Motor Neurone Disease)
Bio
David Kempf has written over fifty short stories, many of which deal with themes of horror fiction. He has won several writing awards including first place in the short story competition of Millersville University’s Lemuria magazine. Two of his short stories were selected in the 2007 publication of The Grackle, his graduate school’s literary magazine. David is featured on two short fiction websites, one American and one British. He holds an M.S. from Chestnut Hill College and a B.A. from Millersville University. David resides in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with his wife and his son.

JD Tell us about THE HORROR OF IT ALL.
DK Well, I thought it would be a good idea to take all the best of the interviews I have done for your site and combine them in one book.
JD That was a good idea. What excites you most about doing these interviews?
DK I get to interview many of my idols, people I have grown up with. Horror writers, special effects artists, film directors, actors, horror movies hosts, etc. I essentially get to write about what I’m excited about. My childhood was filled with horror movies and books. I’m very proud that I got the opportunity to speak to some of these people and, of course, to write fiction of my own.
JD What did you chose to have all of the profits from the book go to ALS research?
DK That’s a good question, Jon. I interviewed Rocky Wood who is president of The Horror Writer’s Association and an author in his own right. While I was fascinated with how he works closely with Stephen King, the story of how he struggles with this disease moved me. I did some research and found out just how devastating ALS really is.
JD Did you need permission from the people you interviewed to include them in the book?
DK Yes, I did and they all said yes. They’re all good hearted people who genuinely want to raise money for a good cause. And causes don’t come better than this.
JD How did you get Jonathan Maberry to write the forward for the book?
DK I am very fond of Jonathan and his excellent novels. He is a great talent and a genuinely really nice guy. He’s friends with Rocky Wood and expressed a desire to do it when I asked him. Jonathan wants to raise money for the cause and I think that his name on the book adds a lot to it.
JD You were very proud when he endorsed Dark Fiction.
DK Yes. I was floored because I didn’t really expect it. Here is one of my favorite authors and here I am a completely new guy publishing his first novel. The blurb was the validation I was looking for as a writer. Jonathan helps a lot of writers because he has an eye for new talent. He is very well read and a good person to know. We miss him in my home town. Jonathan moved from Pennsylvania to California. Several of his projects might be adapted into movies. I certainly wouldn’t be surprised.
JD Speaking of blurbs, this new book has a ton of them. All of them are excellent.
DK Yes, sir.
JD You must feel very proud of that.
DK I’m very proud of the blurbs. These are the best blurbs I’ve ever received.
JD Which one is your favorite?
DK I really shouldn’t single anyone out but if you want to put me on the spot…
JD I do.
DK Then I would have to say William F. Nolan.
JD Why?
DK I’ve been a fan of his work my entire life. He’s mainly known for the Logan series but his work is so much more than that. His short stories and books on writing are second to none. They’ve always been a great inspiration to me.
JD I see.
DK Now that I have blurbs from Maberry and Nolan I’m a happy man (laughs).
JD What do you hope to accomplish with this book?
DK I hope to raise awareness for ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease). I hope we can all do our part to end the suffering of many people who are in great pain right now.
JD Did you take the ALS challenge?
DK I did.
JD Who challenged you to do it?
DK My friend Lucas Mangum did. Lucas is a great writer and all around nice guy.
JD Please tell us about Infliction Press.
DK It’s a small publishing company I started with my friends Jennifer Mills and Steve Kirby. This book is the first one we’re publishing.
JD Will there be other books coming out from Infliction Press?
DK I think so. This could be the first of many. Time will tell. I’m open to publishing some of my fiction. We’re going to be open to submissions from other authors in the future as well.
JD That’s really good news. I also hope that you continue to write for Masters of Horror U.K. for a long time to come.
DK This site has been very good for me and my growth as a writer. I hope this trend continues. I still have a lot to say and the format of Masters of Horror U.K.is a great way to have my voice heard.

About ALS/MND
MND and ALS are different descriptions of the same disease.
The MND Association, which covers England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and the ALS Association, which operates in the USA, do the same type of work. The only real difference is what we call the disease.
The UK use MND – motor neurone disease – and in the USA they use ALS – amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Both refer to a fatal, progressive disease that can rob people of the ability to speak, move and breathe. There is no cure.
The reason there is a difference is that there are several forms of MND. ALS is the most common type.
MND is an umbrella term for all forms of the disease. In the USA, ALS is used as the umbrella term (they also sometimes refer to it as Lou Gehrig's disease).
The MND Association in the UK and The ALS Association in America work very closely together on numerous projects, especially around global research into a cause of MND / ALS

No matter the blood, sweat and tears; at INSURRECTION I will not only face the monster in front of me and the one within, but I will also face the monster that leaves inside everyone in Puerto Rico that feels stuck because of society’s stigmas or others imposing on them. Monster Pain, I am going after one thing and one thing only; at INSURRECTION on October 18 in Bayamón, ‘Voy por mi Título!! INSURRECTION, by God, by God INSURRECTION!!", said a very determined Shane in an interview.
Shane, a Canadian wrestler who arrived in Puerto Rico on 1995 along with Sean Morley (a.k.a. WWE’s Val Venis), established locally as a tag team in the World Wrestling Council (WWC). There he became one of the most beloved talents in Puerto Rico. In 1999 he joined Víctor Quiñones’ IWA-PR, soon becoming the promotion’s first ever World Heavyweight champion. While in IWA-PR, he was a key component of the new era of wrestling in the island, along with wrestlers such as ‘El León’ Apolo, ‘El Mesías’ Ricky Banderas and Ray González. He left IWA in 2005 and debuted in the NWS. After that, he again split his time between IWA and WWC, as well as sporadic appearances for some independents. He then went on to work for TNA, making his debut as referee, although he was also involved in feuds with wrestlers Shawn HYPERLINK "file:///C:/wiki/Shawn_Daivari"Daivari and Booker T. He made his debut in WWL with an appearance during the "Ídolos del Ring" TV episode of August 24th, 2014; and now will be challenging the WWL World Heavyweight champion, Monster Pain, for the title on Saturday October 18th at the "Pepín Cestero Arena" in Bayamón, Puerto Rico.

FILM NEWS (UK): FILM4 FRIGHTFEST ANNOUNCES LINE-UP FOR HALLOWEEN ALL-NIGHTER
The FrightFest All-Nighter 14 returns to its spiritual home, The Prince Charles Cinema, on Saturday October 25, with five killer titles, including the world premiere of Anthony DiBlasi’s LAST SHIFT.
We kick off with a special preview of The Vicious Brothers EXTRATERRESTRIAL, a fine blend of ‘Close Encounters’ and ‘Communion’ with some of the most extraordinary special effects and camerawork you’ll see in 2015. Next up, THE ABCs OF DEATH 2, needs no introduction. The first was a huge draw at FrightFest Glasgow and now we can scream along to 26 more deaths by 26 handpicked filmmakers. This is followed by the world premiere of Anthony DiBlasi’s demonic horror LAST SHIFT, which had to be dropped from the August line-up because of altered release and completion dates as did our next attraction - the highly anticipated sequel THE PACT II, which has its UK premiere. And Giallo fans will not want to miss our last presentation - the ‘Airplane’ of the Italian thriller genre in the sublime Astron-6 homage THE EDITOR.
