TV: The Carrie Diaries 1x05 Promo "Dangerous Territory"
The Carrie Diaries 1x05 "Dangerous Territory" - Carrie (AnnaSophia Robb) runs into an old friend at her internship and gets invited to his mother's dinner soiree in Manhattan, but her feelings for Sebastian (Austin Butler) get in her way, until she see him with another girl. Mouse (Ellen Wong) is excited about getting back together with Seth (guest star Kyle Harris), but her worries about being bad at sex drive her to ask Walt (Brendan Dooling) for help. In order to hang on to a favorite spot at the diner, Maggie (Katie Findlay) takes on Donna LaDonna (Chloe Bridges) and her friends. Meanwhile, Tom (Matt Letscher) loses his wedding ring, which makes him realize that Harlan (guest star Scott Cohen) might be right about starting to date again. Stefania Owen also stars. Norman Buckley directed the episode written by Amy B. Harris (# 105.)
TV: Murdoch Mysteries Series 6

UKTV’s Alibi is thrilled to announce the return of 19th century crime show, Murdoch Mysteries. The brand new and exclusive sixth series airs on Alibi on Mondays at 9pm (Sky 132, Virgin 130).
Based on Maureen Jennings' series of hit novels, Murdoch Mysteries is a one-hour drama set in Toronto in the late 1890s and early 1900s during the age of invention, where methodical and dashing Detective William Murdoch (Yannick Bisson) enlists radical new forensic techniques like fingerprinting, ultraviolet light and trace evidence to solve some of the city’s most gruesome murders.
In the season opener, Detective Murdoch witnessed firsthand the early days of mechanical airplane flight as he delved into a high-flying, high-level conspiracy. In episode 2 which airs on Monday 11th February, he will try to clear the name of a young Winston Churchill (Thomas Howes; Downton Abbey) after a veteran of a brutal North African battle is slain by a sword leaving Churchill as the prime suspect.
Later in the season, as well as facing new challenges in his relationship with Dr. Julia Ogden (Hélène Joy) Detective Murdoch will work to stop a dangerous madman from unleashing a deadly toxic gas attack; visit a community of naturists; and encounter a ghostly presence in Queen’s Park. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle also makes an appearance when his supposedly fictional creation, Detective Sherlock Holmes, becomes entangled in a violent robbery. The season ends with the shocking murder of someone in Murdoch’s circle, and the prime suspect is someone even closer to him.
