Desperate to protect her daughter Abby and keep a roof over all their heads, she works every hour she can. But when bailiffs come knocking, her home is under threat, and her partner is nowhere to be seen, an offer of cash for sex from a wealthy client could be Roz’s only option.

Theo Paphitis to return to the Den as guest Dragon this summer

Theo Paphitis returns to BBC Two’s Dragons’ Den as a guest Dragon in the new series, which starts this Sunday 11 August, Theo will appear later in the run.

He stands in for Touker Suleyman, who was unable to film for part of the series, and will appear in a number of episodes alongside the current line-up of Dragons; Deborah Meaden, Peter Jones and Tej Lalvani, as well as the newest and youngest ever Dragon in the Den, Sara Davies.

Theo is one of the favourite and most formidable Dragons to have appeared in the Den. He originally joined in 2005 as part of the line up in the second series but stood down after nine series in 2013 to focus on his retail businesses.

On returning to the Den Theo Paphitis says: “It was my Godfather moment… just as I thought I was out, they pull me back in, and it was a pleasure to breathe some Dragon fire into the Den again. When I received the call asking me to stand in for part of this upcoming season it didn’t take long to say yes but it did feel like my Bobby Ewing moment, stepping out of the shower. The moment I sat in the chair like I had never been away. I did try to reclaim my middle chair from Deborah but she wasn’t having any of it.

“Being the first and only emeritus Dragon in the Den is an honour. I enjoyed relieving the current Dragons of some great investments along the way, and rekindling some old rivalry.”

Touker Suleyman says: “I’m grateful that my good friend Theo was able to step in to the Den to keep my seat warm while I had some time off. I can’t wait to see him back in action and keeping the other Dragons on their toes, but don’t worry, I wasn’t gone for long!”

Synopsis

Following a job that’s gone very badly wrong, two hitmen Ray (Farrell) and Ken (Gleeson) are sent to Bruges by their boss Harry (Fiennes) and told to hide out and await instructions. Ken falls in love with the cobbled streets and canals of the picturesque city but for Ray it’s torturous boredom and he spends his time upsetting everyone he encounters from locals and tourists. When the call finally comes from Harry it may not be the ticket out they were hoping for.

In Bruges Limited Edition features stunning packaging, with new artwork by Thomas Walker, who also designed the exclusive cover for the Faber and Faber screenplay included with the release, alongside a 50-page soft cover book. Tables - Concept Trailer starring Ronda Rousey

Browsey Acres is a place of peace. Or it was. Ronda Rousey and Travis Browne were hoping to have a pleasant weekend with old friend Devon “D-Von” Hughes, when his Hall of Fame past of destroying generic tables finally catches up to him.

Sometime in June 2019, No DNB Productions was notified that Devon Hughes, aka WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley, wanted to collaborate on a project. Ronda Rousey’s production company put their heads together and came up with TABLES, a tale of survival horror and high spots starring Ronda and Devon, fighting sentient… tables.

Considering the number of tables Devon has put to an early grave throughout his career, the idea of tables finally getting Devon (instead of the other way around) seemed like a natural story for writers Jason Nawara and Justin Golightly.

A few weeks, a two-hour pitch, and a 25-page document explaining the world of TABLES later, Ronda and Travis Browne signed up to star in and executive produce the piece.

The next step was finding someone who could pull the vision off technically. That was Kyle Nilges, a cinematographer out of Chicago who co-directed the madness along with writer/producer Justin Golightly.

Joining Kyle from Chicago was editor Vince Nigito, a veteran director and editor out of Chicago. Vince spent many long nights piecing many different versions of TABLES together, all under great duress.

But the world of TABLES doesn’t end with the trailer.

Interview with Jesse Ray Sheps - (Such a Funny Life)

“I have really only seen the great inspiring side of showbiz”, says fortunate young actor Jesse Ray Sheps, whose new film “Such a Funny Life” hits New York theatres in August.

How did the film come about, Jesse?
Well I was given the script which i thought was really good. I knew immediately that the character of David was someone I could really dig deep into. He is such a complex character. I loved getting to help develop his character and make the audience root for this young brave kid who has to overcome so many challenges.

Tell us about David Gutierrez – what drives him?
David is in some ways like any young person- he wants to live a regular care free life. He realizes, however, that he was given a very difficult set of hurdles in life- a very ill mother, a very abusive family. Despite all of that David wants to become a comedian and make people laugh. I love getting to explore characters that have so many different challenges ahead of them.

You play the younger version of a character played by another actor. Did you two work together a lot?
Actually its pretty funny because we did not work together on the set. Since we were playing the same character at different ages at different times we never had the chance to cross paths to work together.

The movie is about the ups and downs of showbiz. Could you relate to that?
Fortunately, I have really only seen the great inspiring side of showbiz. Getting the chance to work on a set and play different and unique characters to bring them to life is really a dream come true. I have really met so many amazing people who have made working a truly great experience.

When did you know acting was for you?
Well I started modeling for some international companies like H&M when I was five. By the time I was about 7 I was already working as a series regular on Nick Jr.’s show Zack and Quack. So I guess at a really early age I kind of knew that this is what I loved doing.

And when did doors start to swing open for you?
I would say working on Zack and Quack was the start of it. From there, I was able to explore some really great characters in guest starring roles on shows like Blue Bloods and Bull. This past year has truly been amazing. First, the movie All Square which I star in opposite Michael Kelly won best film at the SXSW film festival and made its world premiere. Now we have the premiere of Such a Funny Life. Getting the chance to work bringing different characters to life is a huge dream come true.
