Reverie is an upcoming American drama television series set to be broadcast on NBC. The series was commissioned on May 12, 2017.
The first season will contain only 10 episodes, for creative and scheduling reasons. It was originally scheduled to premiere in March 2018, but later moved to summer 2018.
Former hostage negotiator Mara Kint, an expert on human behavior, takes a job saving people whose minds are lost in an advanced virtual-reality simulation, Reverie. In the process, Kint begins to work through a personal tragedy in her own past.
